 Lilly Axster is a writer and director whose activities focus on queer approaches to text, queer characters, relationships, positions, and points of view, especially in theater plays for young audiences and in picture books, with illustrations by Christine Aebi.
Born 1963, studied in Munich and Vienna. 1992: co-founded FOXFIRE theater with Corinne Eckenstein. Since 1996: work at SELBSTLAUT, an advice center dealing with sexual violence against children and teenagers in Vienna. Currently involved in writing, redistribution of space, theater, school classes, and Planet 10.
