 Katherine Klinger studied English Language and Literature at the University of Sussex and after a first career as a teacher, founded Second Generation Trust, a charity specialising in understanding and researching generational transmission of trauma post-genocide. She produced a series of ground-breaking conferences in London, Berlin and Vienna and went on to run the Holocaust education programme at the Wiener Library, London, for a decade. She helped set up the first Joint European Masters Degree in Comparative Genocide at Kingston University in 2007. She briefly studied Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University and alongside a lifetime interest in buildings and design, is currently studying, as well as working in Forestry and Woodland Management.
